The Peachville High Demons series is 6 books written by Sarra Cannon. Sarra Cannon is an indie author, who grew up in a log cabin just outside of Georgia. The first Peachville High Demons book, Beautiful Demons, was the first book that Sarra ever published, and her story develops from there.

The Peachville High Demons series follows the lives of Harper, Jackson and the members of the Order of Shadows. Harper is just a normal girl with a tendency to start fires when least expected. She has lived all of her life in care, moving from one care home to another. When Harper moves to Peachville to live at the Shadowford Home for Girls, she hopes that this will be the last time she will ever need to move. Her life then takes on a number of unexpected moves, both high and low; as she follows a journey she never would have believed to be possible.
Firstly, these books are amazing. I felt drawn to the characters and that the stories were real. Harper, first made out to be a school girl who had gone off the rails as nobody could cope with her, turned out to be the most important character within the book. The book was written in a way that made me sympathise and feel for every aspect of the story that Harper endured. I laughed when she laughed and I found myself feeling rather sad when things didn't seem to be going her way. Especially with Jackson. Jackson was the knight in shining armour, which always seemed to be too far out of reach to be able to make things better. If I had to choose one character as being my favourite, I would pick Jackson, but I was very fond of both him and Harper.
Another particular character that I grew to like was Zara. We don’t see a lot of her until the later books, but when you do, I’m sure you will like her as much as I did.
All six of the books had me gripped from start to finish, and when I had finished one I couldn’t wait to start the next book. I was ultimately upset when I finished reading Demons Forever, the final book, but then I heard that Sarra Cannon was going to be writing some more books to continue with the story. I’m currently reading books 7 and 7.5 to keep me going (I won’t tell you about these yet as you need to read books 1-6 first).
If anybody asked me if I could think of anything negative about any of these books, I would only say that they are too short.
I would recommend these books to anyone that is a fan of the Twilight stories as they follow a similar theme in that they are supernatural. I wouldn't compare these books as they different, but I thoroughly enjoyed both series.
Sarra Cannon released two additional stories to go with this series. These two books are titled A Demon’s Wrath: Part 1 and Part 2. They explain to the reader, a bit more information regarding the life story of Jackson, and his relationship with Lea, and the way that they react towards each other in the Peachville Series.
Both books can be purchased on Amazon UK
