Young people and adults all over Great Britain voted to put together a list of 50 different books. They voted on the books being favourites, so as to determine a top 50 in order of preference, and also, which books would offer something to the reader. The top ten books from the 50 voted for, are shown on the official 'Writes of Passage' poster.
Books That Will: Scare You
The entire list of 50 books was sorted into categories. The categories were determined based on what each book would bring to the table, and also the reason why you should read said book.
Books That Will: Change The Way You Think
Books That Will: Teach You About Love
Books That Will: Make You Cry
Books That Will: Make You Laugh
Books That Will: Help You Understand You
Books That Will: Transport You
Books That Will: Thrill You
So, what do you think of the choices made by the British public? Do you agree or disagree? How many of these have you read, or do you need/want to read?
I have a lot of books on here, that I still haven't read. If these are the books that young people think everyone needs to read, I had better get started.
(NB, The Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and Lord of the Rings covers shown stand for the entire series, not just that particular book)
