Director: Duncan Jones
Released: 2011
Rated: 12a
Runtime: 93 minutes
Colter Stevens, a soldier, wakes up in someone else's body. On a train. Eight minutes later the train explodes. He finds out he is part of an experimental government program, and his mission is to find the bomber of the train. He will keep reliving the same eight minutes until the bomber is found.
Jake Gyllenhaal and Vera Farmiga star alongside each other in this tense and interesting Science Fiction film. Gyllenhaal as Stevens and Farmiga as his handler, Colleen Goodwin, also a military agent for the government.
This was the second time I have seen this film. I didn't remember it by its name, but once the film started bits came back to me. I found that I didn't remember enough of it, to make me stop watching it for the second time. I was technically watching it fresh.
I loved the idea behind the film. What the government were doing, seemed like a good idea. Anything with Vera Farmiga in, tends to be on the good side.
